Waxing

How to prepare for a better waxing experience

  • Take a shower to clean the wax area thoroughly two to four hours prior to the wax appointment.

  • Before waxing appointment, check the skin for broken skin or inflammation.  It needs to heal before you're ready to wax. Notify esthetician if you have moles or beauty marks, so they can be protected during the waxing process.

  • Let your hair grow long enough for the wax to grip.  If the hair is too short, wax cannot pick it up; if the hair is too long, it might cause more pain.

  • For clients interested in underarm waxing, please do not deodorize before coming to the appointment.

  • Avoid drinking coffee four hours prior to the appointment
